Vanessa Traver is a Baking and Pastry Arts Assistant Professor at SUNY Schenectady. She has a B.A. in Education from SUNY Plattsburgh, and an A.O.S. in Culinary Arts from SUNY Schenectady. She has also studied chocolate making at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.
Vanessa has worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years at the Saratoga Reading Rooms. This a private club that operates seasonally in Saratoga Springs, NY during the racing season. She has taken on many roles there, but currently holds the position of Pastry Chef.
